yup I pushed the rubber stopper in too far into the carboy and "plunk" right into the apfelwine . now how do I get it out?

I used the plastic bag method with a stopper I accidently pushed into a 3 gal glass carboy, worked like a charm!

Also, don't worry about it until you re-rack/bottle/whatever. Any damage it would have done by being in there is already done. Pop a new one on there in the meantime.

I used a long flat head screw driver. Completely forgot I had the carboy sitting there with a stuck stopper in it, until i finally cleaned up the porch! It was like scoring a free carboy!

Thanks.. I will try the plastic bag trick. Thankfully I has another stopper so ill just wait until the apfelwine is done. 1st time using a Carboy too... Haha
