Cheap Temperature alarm

I just ordered a "DIGITAL FRIDGE/FREEZER ALARM THERMOMETER". I could see using this several ways. I am using on my fermerator. Have a DIY thermostat temp controller for the fridge. This just in case my soldering techniques are as bad as they look, this puppy will chirp at me in case of failure. Plus it logs max high and low temp. IMO for $15, its not a bad deal.
