Knowing its gonna be bitter cold soon, and I can't do a full boil indoors, I'm trying to stockpile some winter beer.
I have 48lbs of 2-row already.

for specialty grains:
80 and 40L crystal malt
Special B
Caramunich
Honey Malt
Roasted Barley
Black Patent
Chocolate malt
and Wheat malt

I only have these hops on hand though:
.75oz of Cascade 7.8%
.75oz East kent Goldings 4.0%
1.0z Saaz 2.3%
.5oz Spalt 4.0%

I'm not a hop-head.
Any ideas? maybe an english brown? I plan to pitch onto a Wyeast Kolsch cake when I rack my Mocktoberfest tomorrow.

the LHBS closes in 3 hours and I just won't have time to swing through.

You can make just about anything with that.

Bitters, Porters, Stouts, Milds, Pale Ales, Pilsners, Wheat beers, Wee Heavies, Barley Wine, Plus others.

Hobgoblin, OSH, Boddingtons.

thanks for the vote of confidence. I'll dig around some recipe posts and beertools, as well as peaking at bjcp style guidelines to narrow it down.
everyone liked the brewer's best brown ale extract kit I did...I bet I can replicate that pretty easily.

cheers orfy!
