My friend just bought a bunch of equipment off of his brother and he wants to learn how to brew, so we are all getting together to show him. My friend Ethan is going to do his Mead. I'm going to try out my new MLT and make an extract batch too, and I am going to find something similiar and easy for the newbie--as if I'm not a newbie, lol--to make. He's never even done Mr. Beer so he his completely green at this.
 
First off, the most important part is having good food and beer to drink.

The rest is easy. Eat food, drink beer, have good time. No worries!
 
Hey Mimo,

Let me know when you are planning your brew party. I would love to come check it out and lend some advice if you want. My friend is also preparing for his first batch and has never even seen an extract batch done. It would be really good for him to see one before he attempts it. Let me know a date/time/place and I will try to make it out there. I am just in Williamstown so it is not that far.
 
Have you already bought the meat? You need meat.
