Hey guys,
Anybody got any good extract recipes for a milk stout? I get a milk stout from left hand brewing company out of colorado and really like it, I would like to try making my own. Ive only seen a couple commerical milk stout kits out there. One that im looking at is the cactus milk stout from brewers connection in arizona. Anybody ever brewed this? Any help or advice would be great, thanks.

I brewed a Sweet Stout (another name for milk stout) from a kit from Northern Brewer. It came complete with the lactose. It was VERY tasty. I plan on doing more of this style in the future.

I'm kind of a noob still, but my only advice would be to BE PATIENT! The beer was so good it was hard to keep my hands off of it once it carbed. The last bottle I drank was about 2 months after bottling, and it was by far the best.
