Is a pound of carapils way too much for a 5gal batch? Anything I should expect from this batch? I made a mistake when scaling down a recipe and ended up with a pound instead of .5. As I dont have my own mill its already ground so I am going to brew it for sure.
 
i use .5 to 1lb in most of my 5 gal recipes. A lot depends on how much body you want or what style your brewing. you can always save it and use .5 at a time just put in the freezer and use what u need
