Sort of beer related I guess. I'm traveling from Medford to Bend on Friday to visit ALL (at least that's my plan) of your awesome breweries up there. I'll be leaving after work on Friday and spending 3 days. That said, it'll be dark before I hit pass levels on Friday.

Anyway, normally I'd just head up Hwy62 to hit 97, but with the possibility of snowy weather (which I don't have a ton of experience driving in... what with living down here in Southern Oregon and all), I'm wondering if I shouldn't take a different route.

Here's all of the "reasonable" options as far as I can tell:

I need to get to Bend on Friday night. Weather isn't looking super. There's a number of options to get there:

1) Hwy66 to Hwy97 to Bend = 221mi / 5hrs
2) Hwy140 to Hwy97 to Bend = 207mi / 4hrs
3) Hwy62 to Hwy230 to Hwy138 to Hwy97 to Bend = 167mi / 3.5hrs
4) I5 to Hwy138 to Hwy97 to Bend = 274mi / 5.5hrs
5) I5 to Hwy126 to Hwy242 to Hwy20 to Bend = 282mi / 5.5hrs
6) Hwy20/126 to Hwy97 to Bend = 320mi / 6hrs

Which way do y'all think would be the safest/plowed/snow-free'est ???

Thanks!
