kegging confusion

Now, what is confusing me is most is that most of the picnic taps i have seen are 3/16". Will the 3/16" picnic tap connect to the liquid out disconnect? Also, does my liquid line have to be a certain length? Thanks!

3/16" or 1/4" line should work. I think with 1/4" you will get less foaming with a shorter line.
