need commercial beer ideas

I belong to a group that gets together and 'tastes things' and for the fourth of july they are doing beer. I anticipated this and made up a batch of centennial blonde and have some SWMBO slayer i'll contribute, as well.

What i need help with is a theme and two or three commercial beers that would fit with this theme. Please keep in mind we are buying for 15-30 people and that it's Mississippi, so beers like stone aren't sold here.

My first thought was a 'summer ale' theme with a local MS brew called Indian Summer (white ale) and then maybe some sam adams summer ale. Just a thought.

Well, if you're doing a summer theme... One of my favorite summer beers is Southern Tier Hop Sun. It's a hoppy wheat beer. Very refreshing.

Not sure if they have it down in MS, but the Sierra Nevada Summerfest is pretty good.
