I brewed this batch on Sunday and am hoping for a straight forward stout with some chocolate and coffee notes and a clean / dry finish .... thoughts?

OG 1.067
FG 1.015
IBU 64
ABV 6.7%

Boil volume 12.5
Batch 11

20 lbs Great western 2 row
3 lbs German Munich
1lbs Cara Munich
1lbs pale chocolate
1lbs chocolate
1lbs Carafe 2

4 oz challenger 6.75% 60 min
2 oz challenger 6.75% 30 min
2 oz challenger 6.75% 0 min

Mash at 154 for 60 min

Safale 05 33 grams (3 sachets) pitched dry

ferment at 66

Hit my mash temp and my OG spot on and had strong fermentation after 10 hours.

This beer poured nice dark nearly opaque with a coffee colored head. Really pronounced coffee, cola chocolate aroma. The beer has a great mouth feel with a firm malt backbone and good hop bitterness. I think this falls somewhere between a stout and a porter and I think I will try this again but back down the chocolate and carafa 2 for a porter. Overall I'm please with the straight forward nature of the beer, showcasing the dark malt and achieving coffee and chocolate flavors using only malt.
