Hello
Im trying to source belgian candy syrup here in Europe (I already know about the D2 and the D180, shipping is expensive).
I have found the belgian producer Belgosuc, which offers two types of dark candy syrup:
Candimic dark 73%, which is 225 EBC / 85 Lov
Candimic dark 78% which is 2000 EBC / 750 Lov
The jump between the two seems quite excessive and I was wondering if the info regarding the color in this tech sheet:
http://www.castlemalting.com/Publications/SugarProducts/CandimicDark78Jerrycan.pdf
Could simply be wrong. I mean, it is four times as dark as d180 and twice as dark as black patent.
What do you say, is it realistic?
Regards
