On the Metro on the way back from a club get together at Bluejacket in DC. Food was unimpressive but the beer was better than I expected. Ranging from meh to really good.

Had their Golden Boy Blonde on cask, Moby Grape Imperial Sour Brown, The New Black Session Black IPA in cask, their Rheinhard de Vos Sour Red (bloody amazing), The Jam Strawberry Rhubarb Berliner (underwhelming), The Arsonist Smoked Oud Bruin (my least favourite), Full Bloom Brett Saison, and then The Fix Coffee Vanilla Stout on cask (overspiced but not bad).

Will edit for pics once I'm off the Metro.

Just got back from a local street fair where I got to sample two new 1bbl breweries who are opening soon in my town.

Nobody blew me away but it will be great to have these guys so local!

Just got home from dropping the biggest off at scout camp. Stopped at Redbeard brewing near the camp. Some good, some not so good. Saison was nice, but the standout was a Van Winkle barrel aged stout. Absolutely outstanding.

Working to catch up of 12 pages of posts, probably after dinner

Guano Loco. They nailed the brownie part, the heat from the chilies is good but there is a strange vegetal thing going on.
