What started out as something to do with all the apple cider we have around here, has grown into quite an obsession. A Hard Cider batch with my neighbor, Fred, was first, then came a mead recipe of my own and of course another batch of hard cider just to have. This weekend I plan to make a Holiday Special Ale from a recipe kit - my first beer experiment!
 
Welcome from near New Brunswick! I used to live in Chester NJ and I was in Milford PA last weekend, are you near there? Nice area...
 
Milford's not far from here, maybe 20 minutes or so. I can see the monument at High Point State Park from my front yard. It's about 9 miles across the Wallkill Valley. Thanks for the welcome messages... Matt
