I'm looking into getting a beer filter system setup using a house water filter. I've read thru some threads on this and haven't noticed this mentioned.
From the pics I've seen, it looks like the connector between the filter housing and the hose is brass. I don't recall the details, but have read before that using brass is not good since it reacts chemically with the acidity of the beer. I'm not sure the beer would be in contact with the brass long enough to give off any negative effect, but a curiosity question.
