Anyone ever made Northern Brewer's Breakfast Stout ?

Here's the recipe...

I was kind of thinking about making this Saturday Night out in my front yard while wearing my werewolf costume and giving out the treats.

Its kind of late to order it from Northern Brewer, but I've already got plenty of Willamettes and I can pick up the grain bill and yeast at the LHBS.

Whats the "Milk Sugar" for ? How do I use it ? Is there an acceptable substitute if I can"t get it ?

I haven't made it, but I can answer you milk sugar question. It is lactose, an unfermentable sugar. It will add body and some sweetness to what would otherwise be the thin/dry beer. Any local homebrew shop should carry it.

Sounds like a fun halloween activity, just make sure to keep the kids away from the flame.
