I am mid build on my e-herms system and I am trying to decide the best route to take in building my herms coil and CFC. The viable options are the following:
1) Buy 50' of 1/2 OD refrigerant copper, cut it in half and use half in herms coil and half in CFC. (I realize this is not the optimal CFC diameter and would require a larger hose to allow for proper flow). However this may be the most economical route.
2) Buy 20' of 3/8 OD copper and build a standard CFC and buy the 50' of 1/2 OD copper...use what I can and just store the rest for whenever..
3) Buy 20' of 3/8 OD copper and build a standard CFC and buy this: http://www.stainlessbrewing.com/-12-Coiled-to-customers-request-035-304304L-Coiled-Tubing_p_30.html
