I just made a batch of kombucha and realized I put in double the amount of tea. Does anyone have an experience of what this will do to the batch? I am guessing it will give it more of a bitter flavor which I can live with but just don't want it to damage the scoby. I have it in a continuous brew system. Any feedback is appreciated, thanks!

"Double the amount of tea" is kind of meaningless without some sort of reference point. Double what? What recipe were you following? What kind of tea? How much tea did you use/what size batch/how much sugar/how much starter tea?

double is fine as long as your fine with the taste and caffeine content, SCOBY wont care
