What's the best way to go about cleaning a glass carboy? My father picked one up for me somewhere and this is the first one I've ever owned. Is there anything different I need to do with it than better bottles?

Carboy brush is a good method. If the **** is really caked on, a soak in an oxyclean solution or a bleach solution overnight will get it spotless. Then just be sure to rinse very well.
