I did my first AG batch this weekend, and when I stopped sparging my runnoff had a SG of 1.012. This value was not corrected for temperature, and the runnoff was 160+ degrees. Should I be adjusting this reading for temperature? I have heard about stopping sparging at 1.010, but is this before or after a correction for temperature?
I have always taken my OG readings at pitching temperature, so I haven't worried about this in the past.
Thanks!
