Element Question

I was at the home improvement store this afternoon and saw this element.

Will this work? How can I tell if its a Ultra low watt element? I could not see it called out on any elements they had in stock.

Sure looks like my ulwd element.
same wattage too.
How much was it.

Looks good. THIS SITE lists it as "Lowest watt density available"

That's a winner. By nature of that ripple shape, it is a ULWD element. That shape maximizes the surface area.

Does that one have a sacrificial anode as part of the base?

doesn't look like it but that is the brand I've seen with it

That is $36 near me at an Ace Hdwe.

I think that the sacrificial anode was a failed experiment for them and they eliminated it some time ago.
