bottling is to kegging as air cooling is to a wort chiller!

Wow! I just invested $85 in a wort chiller and now instead of waiting 3-4 hours to get down to pitching temp, it took like 10 minutes!

I don't know why I didn't get one of these sooner. A friend and I were brewing this weekend and when we went out to get ingredients, we saw the wort chillers. The cheaper was $85 and the larger was $120. We got the smaller one and both used it. Unbelievable! In under 10 minutes, the wort was down to 70 degrees.

I used to sit around for 2-3 hours with the ice baths. Now, DONE!

I love my wort chiller... but I honestly kind of enjoy bottling. I love having a collection of cool bottles to give to people.
