just kegged my first two ales and force carbed, one is flowing like a champ and the other is sputtering, hissing, and leaking from the gas in lug. all ball locks seem secure but maybe something is fouled up, anybody have an idea?

Sounds like a leak. Where is it coming out of? It could either be a bad poppet if it is coming out the top, from inside the post, or a bad o-ring if it only comes out underneath the gas QD when it is connected. It might even be a bad o-ring on the gas dip tube, inside the post.

If it is only leaking when the gas connector in attached, you probably have a bad o-ring on the post.

uhhhhg I got it figured out. looks like one keg was properly configured and the other had the in and out reversed. shame on me!

Ahh, so the gas IN post was barely reaching the top of the liquid.

Always remember the post with 12 points is the IN post.
