I'm planning to condense stream from the boil. I have an inline vortex fan similar to Kal's ( http://theelectricbrewery.com/ ). I have bought some of the stuff for an exchanger I'm not sure what to use for isolation for cold water side and what to make baffles from...
Does someone have so experience they'd like to share.
6" pvc
1/2 copper type M. I'm leaving some room in case I need to go back and add more tubes.

I would just run the water back and forth by attaching each pass to the next with some elbows. Making a supply and collection manifold will require sealing each tube length into the ends. It can be done, but not too easily. You can cut a piece of 6" pvc, slit it, heat it in the oven and then unfold to a flat plate by sandwiching between two flat heavy things. Cut it into a circle and cement into the end of the wye. Drill and tap 1/2" NPT into the plate and solder male adapters to the ends of the tubes. Cement on a female adapter and use a threaded plug to close off the chamber. This is going to get expensive.

Again, just make the copper do a multi-pass and if you want a few split runs, use a cross or a couple tees on both ends.
