I wanted to try and grow up some dregs from a bottle. I put the dregs from 2 bottles of Jolly Pumpkin La Roja into a normal starter. This is my first time doing this and was wondering what I should be looking for. So far (3 weeks in the growler) I have some interesting activity and was wondering if anyone sees anything bad, good, or just keep waiting. Here are some pictures:

Any insight would be nice!
CHEERS!

These pics look good, and it appears there might be some lactic activity going on in the starter. You could add a little maltodextrine maybe to feed the bugs. When are you planning to add them to a beer? I have found that JP dregs are pretty active, and within 3 weeks of adding them to a p-Lambic, it formed a nice pellicle. That was nearly a year ago, and the pellicle has fallen and reformed!
