Lactose instead of LDME?

Does anyone know where to buy LDME off the web? Im going to make a new batch of beer but didnt want to pay the shipping cost the current place I purchase it charges.

Lactose Have any of you used lactose in place of LDME? The last time I made a batch of lager I used strictly LDME and it turned out pretty good. Could I use Lactose in place of LDME?

Definitely not. Lactose is unfermentable milk sugar. It will not be fermented by beer yeasts. It is used to add sweetness to beers like stouts.

+1 on what Yooper said. Lactose won't ferment and only sweeten your brew. I've only used it once myself in cheese's CVCA.
