Im making a show mead, I pitched the yeast at 100 degrees fahrenheit.... do I just let it cool down and pitch more yeast? I.started with d47, can I pitch a different yeast?

Sorry if I sounded short, I've just been planning this for a week and I'm upset I messed it up...

Just started a 5 gal. batch of show and pitched at about 100 deg. within 6 hrs the airlock was perking about every 3 sec.

I used D-47 as well. Jim

Hello
The first 7 days must be stormy for the mead. But befor the juice and the yeast must have
the same temp.(or the yeast die or sleep...by wrong temp)
