I'd like to center my faucets, but the inside of my door has a center spine of plastic creating a left and right section of storage in the door. If I cut out a space for the center faucet do I need to reinforce it with wood? Or am I better off placing them to one side? I do plan on using half the fridge for kegs and the other half for bottles and soda. Maybe the taps are better off closest to the hinge side to create less clutter?

I installed mine towards the hinge side but my DIY IQ is not especially high.

Seemed to work better for when I open the fridge and move/replace kegs.
