This beer took first place in the Fruit, SHV, Smoked category at the 2010 BEER Brew-Off.
A nice robust porter base with a pleasant, oaky finish. I leave it on the chips for a week, but be sure to taste yours and adjust as necessary. The head is brown and creamy and should stick around a bit. The 5.7% ABV adds a little zing.
