Just wondering if any one from Iowa has any info I could use, I'm going to try and grow my own hops, any info or input will help and if your around the Waterloo area maybe could show your hops

There is a member from Des Moines named Schlenkerla that had a pretty good year last year. You could try PMing him or wait for him to see this. It seems to me I've seen Waterloo as a location from someone in this sub-forum as well.

i'm from iowa originally, with that soil, rocks will grow there. if you want some great fertalizer, try the "spray and grow" web site. it's wonderful stuff. I'll be starting my rizomes this spring in ga. our soil is clay, with some gray dirt mixed in here and there. you'll be fine
