I'm pretty sure it would work. Question would be how would it taste.
I think it needs a pound or two more grain, and another ounce of hops. My $.02

yes - 2 pounds more grain, an extra ounce of hops up front, + 1 oz for the last 20 minutes and 2 more ounces for 2 minutes at the end, left in for 30 minutes before recovering the clear wort.
