how to get pid to manual mode

how do i get the pid to manual mode? i feel like im missing something.. i put the mode to zero and etc. but it still just shows me the temp to set it at and will only show the A beside it. ive read the directions and other threads pertaining to operating the 2352 but for some reason its not going into manual mode

What are you doing besides setting the variable to 0? Have you tried setting to 1 and pressing the A-M button?

Is this a 2352?

AM button puts it in manual mode. There is a light that indicates the mode you are in.

Then, click the SET button to switch from the SET temp display to the DUTY CYCLE display.

Push and hold the AM button for roughly 3 seconds.

I think i figured it out. My one alarm was at an odd setting and i think my autotune was set at 2 or 3. I put that back to zero and the manual function seems to be working now
