Just a random question:
We recently massively upgraded and built our own walk-in style chiller, with a glycol unit to boot (for cold crashing and other rapid chilling). The walk-in can keep things within about 3° of whatever we set between 30-80°.
The thing is, we only use it about half the time. Every other month it gets unplugged and even when in use it is much larger than necessary.
Does anyone ever share fermentation space? Could I offer space to other homebrew friends to share (maybe in exchange for a few bottles of product!) or is that just too complicated? Moving the beer, transferring, etc. Is it done?
thanks!
