I would like to brew an IPA. But have not gone AG yet. Any suggestions for a PM IPA that you might have had sucess with? Thanks for the input. The hoppier the better!
I just did a Two Hearted Ale last week. Don't know what the final product tastes like, but if it's anything like the sample I took from the primary, it's going to be REALLY good.
(Note: I do a partial boil of 3 gallons with a late extract addition, 1 lb. for 60 minutes, 3 lbs. for 10 minutes. You'll need to adjust your hop amounts if you do a full boil.)
4.75 AAU at 60 minutes
4.75 AAU at 45 minutes
4.75 AAU at 30 minutes
4.75 AAU at 15 minutes
4.75 AAU at Flameout (steep 10 minutes before cooled)
4.75 AAU Dry-Hopped
...and if you've never tried Two Hearted Ale by Bells Brewery, you must remedy that asap.
