Hi.
I brewed a coopers real ale kit and it has been in the bottle for a little over 2 weeks. I have tried a couple of the swing top bottles and they tasted fine and smelt good but today I was about to throw a couple in the fridge and I noticed that in every swing top bottle I have right when I pick it up and disturb it a bit I see black specks floating down to the bottom. I have a couple of PET bottles but they don't seem to have any of these black specks whatsoever in them. Is there an infection in the swing top bottles or is that normal for swing tops. This is my first time using the swing top's and they are grolsch bottles and a couple of brown swing tops which also have the black specks in them.
*Thought I should add that when I was racking from my carboy to bottling bucket I forgot to use the little orange cap.
Thank you.
