So i just got a keg kit for Vday from my VERY loving fiancee.....LOL
So the question im having is what is the going rate for a 5lb C02 fill. I found one place that will fill mine and it was going to be about 20 bones. Is that a reasonable price?
Also can you guys lead me in the direction of some good recipes for my wedding coming up in July? Since im new to kegging, is there anything i should keep my eyes open for? Its in the summer so i was thinking maybe a hefe, maybe a blond, or an amber. Just trying to get an idea of what kind of beer someone might enjoy at the wedding..... obviously it will vary, but any info cant hurt.
Im going to have a lot of Qs but a few that come to mind are how long will beer keep in a keg? and how should i transport my kegs, and prep for service when i arrive at my destination? And i woudl assume you get about 48 cups from a keg, much like bottling? Thinking i may need to buy more kegs. LOL
