Ok guys I thought I would throw this out there I have 2 brand new 10 gallon Rubbermaid coolers that are sitting in my basement and I am not sure what to do with them.
I thought about making some type of electrical system or at least some way to recirculate the mash through the cooler (herms) because that seems like the area in the brewing process in which I struggle with during colder temperatures.
I am currently working on my other system https://www.homebrewtalk.com/f11/another-herms-designed-clock-135250/ and wanted to be able to use something else since I will probably take me a few more months to finish and test the new system. It is starting to cool down here in Michigan and need a way to maintain mash temp.
Any thoughts or ideas would be appreciated.

I actually made one of these. https://www.homebrewtalk.com/f11/new-10-gallon-herms-pics-76773/ Just about done with construction next will be testing and brewing. I already had most of the components so I thought why not. It always seemed like my mash temps were inconsistent and not holding when brewing so this will put an end to that.

Now I can start focusing more on the recipes than equipment issues.
I do like the idea of grain storage though!
;)
