Hi again,
Just wondering about the effect that strike water volume has on the resultant wort. As an all grain amature, I have read a bunch, and from what little I understand, somewhere between 1.25 and 2 quarts per pound of grain is required. This begs two questions:
Does this mean strictly the weight of the malt, or should I include the weight of the adjuncts. Also,
What effect will varying the amount of strike water have on the character of the beer.
