Lagers, including Oktoberfest may be a difficult beer to attempt as a beginner brewer. Primarily because of the need for temperature controls throughout the fermentation and lagering stages. If you have the equipment required, I would recommend going to

Edwort and BierMucher both have recipes that are respected here. I know Ed's uses ale yeast, which makes the lagering issue a bit easier to deal with. You should be able to find them in the recipe section. If you can't, find a post from either of them and then use the recipe pull-down.
