In the recipe there is no mention of sugar, but in the notes there is?
 
didn't realize you had an account on this forum, been reading your blog for a few months... outstanding stuff. Saved the recipe earlier this morning, hoping to brew it in the fall!

Slight confusion over the recipe. The sugar went in the second wort that was only used in the BPA and BAK.

It goes on the never ending to-do list of mine, I've got two of your other recipes lined up should I get time to brew again soon the BP 1942 XLK and the Whitbread 1877 XPS. Not that my brewing skills will do them justice :0
