did a starter yesterday for a white labs 2565 kolsch yeast, it is a 700ml with a SG 1.020, and has been sitting on my ferm chanber at 68d.

no action what so ever, what do you recomend.

side notes.
the yeast been storage at 32-34d for 2 months
have a backup plan, a dry yeast fermentis us-05.

thanks in advance

Pull it out and let it sit at room temp. You don't really have to worry about of flavors with a starter and you will be able to see if it's going. Plus if it's not, the warm temp will give it a boost, like when you bottle condition beers I do it at room temp to make sure the yeast is going. Same thing.

With an OG of 1.020, you won't get much action. I'd recommend a starter of at least 1.030- preferably 1.040.

You can take an SG later if you don't think you had any fermentation at all, but you won't see much, if any, sign of a fermentation that starts at 1.020.
