I have some 3711 saved from an earlier batch and I'm thinking about doing something bigger than a saison with it. Is there such thing as an Imperial Saison? Or should I do something more out there like an Imperial Belgian Stout?

I can't decide.

I just did a Russian Imperial Stout using 3711. 1.092 to 1.007

It's a clone of Great Divides Belgian Style Yeti RIS. Is that big enough?

I used a Yeti clone recipe from BYO thats floating around here. I just moved the beer a few days ago to a couple of corny kegs for aging and the stuff was already tasing great.

Here is the recipe I used. (5 gallons)

14.5 lb pale 2-row
.75 crystal 120
.75 chocolate
.75 black patent
.50 roasted barley
.5 flaked rye
.5 flaked wheat

1.25 oz Chinook 60 mins
1.25 oz Chinook 30 mins
.50 Chinook 15 mins

I am not really familiar with extract brewing but I think you would drop out the flaked grain...

I would use this recipe info along with what you can get from the info on the Austin homebrew page.
