Water report

I just moved to a new area and I was wondering if someone could help me understand this water report. Thank you.

You don’t care about that stuff. That’s the regulated substances the EPA requires them to track. What you need is usually called “secondary constituents” or some such. It’s not required so it’s often not reported.

Call ‘em up and tell them you have a question about the water report. Eventually you will get the lab. Here’s what you want:

Bicarbonate ppm
Total alkalinity as CaCO3
Total Hardness as CaCO3
Calcium
Magnesium
Sulfur
Sodium
Chloride

You're on your own. You'll have to send your own sample into a place like Ward Lab to get more.

I would just like some basic information. Is my water hard or soft and is it okay to brew with etc.

Your water report is from 2005.

All I see is PH (7.6) and Sodium (29).
