I'm brewing a pale ale tomorrow, can you please let me know if my water adjustments look right?

Collecting 7G for the boil

Starting Water (ppm)

Ca 30
Mg 8
Na 15
Cl 30
So4 19
CaCo3 70

Mash additions:
2g Gypsum
2g Epsom Salt
2g NaCl

Sparge additions:
3g Gypsum
3g Epsom Salt
3g Nalc

Should give me a target of

Ca 63
Mg 22
Na 73
Cl 119
So4 158

I got these numbers from EZ-Water Calculator 2.0.

Can anyone please confirm that this is an appropriate water profile for a pale ale?

Many thanks!:mug:

I usually recommend starting with lower sulfate at first but this seems OK. If you think the bitterness too harsh try less sulfate (gypsum) next time. And if you want this level of chloride I'd get it from calcium chloride rather than sodium chloride. Calcium is always good (up to a point) whereas sodium is pretty useless.

Thanks for the feedback, this is my first time bringing water chemistry into the equation.
