So this weekend, my BIL came to pickup his 5g of American wheat that we brewed four weeks ago. It was in my kegerator and just starting to carb up. This beer was very promising and I am sure it will be great in two weeks time. So Paul takes his keg and I still have mine (I brew 10g batches).
On Sunday I go downstairs to draw a pint and see how the hop flavor is progressing.... then I find it.
My keg sprung a leak and leaked about 4.5 gallons of my beautiful beer into my keezer.... expletives followed. Well I made it almost 4 years in the hobby without a major catastrophe so I guess it was just my time. I am not really sure how to get over the dilemma and can't brew again until January.... :tear:
Then to make matters worse, my wife told me that no one was buying my the homebrew equipment I asked for for Christmas, and instead they would be getting me random stuff and clothes. It was a **** weekend for brewing...
