Had this a couple weeks ago, just before going to class (which TOTALLY didn't affect my learning) and then again tonight. Pretty interesting beer, great hop flavor and aroma without being overly bitter. Could see it being a great daily drinker.
So, I'd like to make this one. According to the NB website profile, it's two-row, wheat, rye and flaked oats for malt bill. For hops, Centennial, Cascade, Sterling, Willamette and Glacier. I'm thinking something like:
9 lb 2-row pale
3 lb wheat malt
2 lb rye
0.5 lb flaked oats
0.50 oz. Centennial 10.5% @ 60 min
1 oz oz. Cascade 6.6% @ 15 min
0.75 oz. Sterling 6.3% @ 15 min
0.75 oz. Willamette 5.5% @ 5 min
0.75 oz. Glacier 5.5% @ 5 min
0.25 oz. Cascade 6.6% dry hop
0.25 oz. Sterling 6.3% dry hop
0.25 oz. Willamette 5.5% dry hop
0.25 oz. Glacier 5.5% dry hop
Clean yeast (WLP-001, US-05, etc)
OG 1.061
FG 1.015
IBU 39
ABV 5.9 %
SRM 5
Really not confident in the hop schedule... any thoughts?
