Hey all. I have a batch of California common going right now. It's sitting at about 64 and bubbling every once and while. It's been there for a week now. What do I do next? transfer it? Lager it? I have read so many different things, but they seem to be contradictory. Anyone done this that can help?

I have one going too! I did 6 days at 60 and then brought I brought the temp up 1 degree a day until I hit 65. You might want to let it go one more week. Won't hurt but might help! I plan on lagering mine for 2-3 weeks before drinking.

You shouldn't need to lager a California Coomon. The yeast ferments like a lager at ale temps. I keep mine on primary for three weeks then bottle.
