I really like Widmer's OKTO and would like to brew up a clone but have not been able to find a recipe on here or anywhere else on the internet. I've put together a recipe below using some online resources and looking to get some feedback on it.
Per Widmer's website OKTO has the following
IBU: 28
ABV: 5.3%
OG: 13.5 Plato
Malts: Pale, Carapils, Caramel Munich II, Crystal 77L
Hops: Alchemy, Willamette
Cannot find anything regarding the SRM
This is what I have come up with so far.
6.5 pounds LME
10 oz Caramunich II
8 oz Carapils
4 oz Crystal 80L
.2 oz Millenium for 60 min
.3 oz Warrior for 60 min
.5 oz Willamette for 15 min
.5 oz Willamette for 5 min
Not planning on dry hopping
Using White Labs California Ale Yeast (WLP001) Since the beer is more of an ale and not a true oktoberfest lager.
Any feedback would be greatly appreciated
