Well this is what I had in mind. I love cider and I love maply syrup so why not make a cider with about two to three pounds of maple syrup? I've made meads with maple syrup and they have never lasted long enough to age :mug: so I'm wondering how maple and apples will team up.
Cheers

We don't see Maple Syrup here properly in the UK and it's a while since i tasted the good stuff but if you like the two together it'll work - High sugar levels though. You haven't mentioned batch size or yeast. Bare that in mind with ABV/sweetness.

If you can get your hands on some Grade B or C, it will stand up better in an ale or cider than Grade A. Weird thing about maple syrup grading, it was setup when maple syrup was used as a sweetner, so the highest grades have the least flavor!
