Ok, my grandpa has some sugar cane left over from his annual cane syrup production. I already harvested, pressed, boiled, and fermented 9 gallons of it to be used in production of something that won't be mentioned here... While I was boiling I got to thinking, why couldn't I throw some hops in here and make a beer of some sort. I don't really know how well that would come out without a malt backbone to support the hops but probably 300 more gallons of sugar cane juice is going to get tossed to the cows. I'm sure the juice could be used as an adjunct but what about on its own? Thanks
