Krausen rising!

I am 2 days into fermentation and the krausen just started rising significantly. Here's the thing, I don't have a blowoff tube. Is there any other option? It's about an inch from my bung and airlock.

Go to the hardware store and buy a blowoff tube.

i used to just use a bung and a length of normal siphon tubing.... it has a greater risk of getting plugged but will contain mess if it doesn't. you could always just ride it out if you;re willing to do a little cleaning.
